Technology is at the core of Convene Group, which includes Convene, CrediCare, and Gordion. We are a team of around 150 employees across our offices in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
For over 30 years, the companies within Convene Group have led the way in self-service solutions. Today, we provide a wide range of payment and administration services in 14 countries across multiple industries.

Our history
Did you know Convene started as a small entrepreneurial venture in Sandane, Norway?
It all began with Jesper Melin, a doctor who wanted to solve his own time management challenges. His idea? To convert an old parking meter into a self-service payment terminal for his patients.
In 2010, Melin Medical was founded. The payment terminal Jesper built marked the start of our self-service journey. Five years later, we received the Innovation Award for Universal Design in the service design category.
In the following years, we expanded into Denmark and Sweden. Our focus on technology and international growth strengthened even further with the acquisition of Gordion, a leading provider of self-service terminals across industries.
In 2020, all Melin brands were unified under the Convene name, as we know it today.
